P1) WHAT IS THE BRAND OF MOVEMENT YOUR COMPANY USES FOR ITS AUTOMATICS?

The Automatic collection uses Chinese standard mechanical movements that require no battery – the watch is wound from the movement of your arm, or by winding using the watch stem in the pushed in position.

The Viking Premier collection watches use an upgraded Seagull mechanical movement.

P2) WHICH HAVE REPLACEABLE/CUSTOMIZEABLE STRAPS?

P3) AUTOMATIC OR QUARTZ MOVEMENT?

Look at the detail information on the product page – it will always say if it is automatic/mechanical movement. If it does not say this, it is a battery powered/quartz movement. P4) WHAT SORT OF MOVEMENT DOES THE SECOND HAND USE ON YOUR WATCHES? DOES IT TICK OR DOES IT SWEEP? 

Our watch movements tick the second hand.

P5) DOES THE CHRONOGRAPH FOR YOUR WATCHES WORK, OR IS IT ONLY FOR DISPLAY?

Most of the watches with chronographs do work normally. If a dial is only for decoration, we have noted it in the detail product info for that watch.

P6) ARE YOUR WATCHES WATER RESISTANT?

Yes, they are all water resistant. They're ok for wearing short in the rain for example, but should not be worn swimming or in the shower. It's specified at 30M or 3 ATM.

When we have a watch that is waterproof (for wearing in the water), then it will state that in the title and detailed description in the product page.

P7) I’M LOOKING FOR SOMETHING REALLY ACCURATE AS IN RADIO CONTROLLED?

Sorry but we don’t have any high precision watches like this. Just standard automatic and quartz movements.

P8) WHAT’S THE PROPER WAY OF CLEANING/MAINTAINING MY WATCH?

If the watch is a Quartz movement (battery-powered), we recommend replacing the batteries once a year. Beyond that, the watches require no maintenance.

P9) WHAT TYPE OF LEATHER IS USED ON YOUR LEATHER BANDS?

We use cowhide leather for all our leather band watches.

P10) DO YOU OFFER REFURBISHED WATCHES?

No, we don’t offer refurbished watches, all of our watches are new from the factory. If additional questions not possible to answer, get lead info per customer brief and send to customer.

P11) HOW DO I KNOW WHICH STRAP TO CHOOSE BETWEEN LEATHER, RUBBER OR METAL?

Metal and rubber watch bands are for those with an active lifestyle due to its durability and light-weight respectively. Leather watch bands are more aesthetic with a luxurious looking texture.

P12) WHAT’S THE MOST COMFORTABLE STRAP/BAND?

Although most people go by appearance, it is the comfort that is more important in a watch band. Check the measurements and ensure that the fit is perfect if you want the watch band to last longer.

Those who have a sensitive skin should opt for a leather band against a metal one to avoid itching and irritation. Though leather bands last longer, they can cause discomfort if they get wet. Nylon bands are better both ways - they are comfortable as well as won't be a problem when they are wet.

P13) HOW CAN I FIND THE RIGHT SIZE FOR MY WATCH?

The size needs to be right, allowing some room for adjustment. Most men's band range from 18mm - 22mm and most women's band range from 14mm - 18mm.

Watches can look amazing with any given strap. However, the look will be drastically different based on the type you select. Choose the most appropriate watch band in the right size.

P14) WHAT ARE THE FEATURES OF ANALOG WATCHES?

Analog watches are more conventional since they contain a face that consists of hour and minute pointers, and Roman numerals, numbers, or symbols that show a 12-hour or 24 hour day. This is perfect to wear at work and when dating.

P15) WHAT ARE THE FEATURES OF QUARTZ WATCHES?

 A Quartz watch accurately keeps time via the constant beat of an impeccably cut crystal. They are powered through a battery. As a result, they are normally less costly than mechanical/automatic watches that have a more complicated movement.

P16) SQUARE WATCH DIAL OR ROUND DIAL?

Both round and a square shaped watches have a function. They perform the same work.

Round-faced watches sell better than square-faced most probably because of psychological reasons that is people’s semantic notion of what a watch should look like. A square-faced watch often sits better on the wrist and comfortably aligns with the strap. It is designed to create more surface area which gives a watch maker more room for functional features. This design also looks pleasing to the eye.

P17) WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN KINETIC, MECHANICAL AND AUTOMATIC WATCHES?

Kinetic and Mechanical are actually other terms for an automatic watch. These watches wind from the motion of your wrist moving throughout the day.

When you receive an automatic watch, you might need to manually charge the watch to get it going by gently shaking it for approximately 30 seconds.

P18) WHERE ARE THE PRODUCTS MADE?

All of the products are manufactured in China.

P19) ARE THE WRISTBANDS CHANGEABLE?

Watches with leather straps can be interchanged with the right tools. The watches with metal straps will require a jeweler to swap the straps.

No. We don’t accept orders on phone. You can only order on the website

O2) CAN CUSTOMERS FIND OUT ON THE WEBSITE IF THE PRODUCT THEY ARE ORDERING IS “IN STOCK”? IF IT CAN BE ADDED TO THE CART, DOES THAT MEAN IT IS IN STOCK?

You may be able to add an item to cart that may not be in stock. If the item is not in stock when you place the order, we'll contact you via email to inform you about it.

O3) WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Paypal, American Express, Discover, JCB, and Diner’s Club. These are all available in checkout process.

O4) DO YOU OFFER FINANCING OR PAYMENT PLANS?

We do offer financing if you make your order through PayPal. This is available during checkout.

O5) HOW CAN I CANCEL / MODIFY MY ORDER?

If the order hasn't been shipped, we can modify or cancel the order. Send an email as soon as possible with your order number and what you’d like to change and send this to us.

If the product has shipped, you’ll need to wait until it is received and then go through the return and refund or exchange process within 30 days of receipt (see the Returns policy at:  https://vikingwatch.com/pages/return-policy

When you use PayPal to check out, charge will come from Vinton Enterprises Inc. When You use a debit or credit card directly, charge will show as SP* Viking Watch.

There’s no minimum order requirement.

Here's the step-by-step process:

  2. Click on the add to cart button
  3. Click Add to Cart 
  4. Hit orange checkout button on the shopping cart page
  5. Click Add to Cart 
  6. Fill in customer info on bottom of left side of checkout screen
  7. Fill in shipping method (standard or Express)
  8. Enter payment info (credit card info or PayPal)

If the credit card is not authorizing at that point, and it won't let the order to be placed , there is not too much we can do except recommend to set up a PayPal account and try your credit card there or use a bank account to send money (very safe).

O9) WHERE ARE COUPON CODES ENTERED ON THE SITE IF A VISITOR ALREADY HAS ONE?

You can enter the coupon code in the discount code box on the checkout page and hit the Apply Discount button.

010) CURRENCY QUESTIONS

On our site we have a drop down at the top header of the page that will let you click on it to pick the currency you want to see the price in (the preset is USD). If your currency is not shown there, we can estimate it for you. Please note there is also a language selector there so you can change this as well if you like.

011) DO YOU HAVE CASH ON DELIVERY AS PAYMENT METHOD?

Sorry but we do not offer a cash on delivery option. The best alternative we can suggest is to set up a PayPal account where you can transfer money from your bank account.

No, we do not have physical store locations. We only sell online.

It takes 1-2 business days to get the product shipped. Delivery time then depends on the shipping method selected. Standard shipping is 2-3 weeks. while Express Shipping is 1 week worldwide.  

S2) CAN CUSTOMERS PICKUP THEIR ORDER INSTEAD OF SHIPPING IT?

There’s no warehouse pickup option.

S3) WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOUR SHIPPING/PROCESSING AND DELIVERY TIMES?

It may take 1-2 days to get the product shipped.

Yes, this is listed as an option at checkout.

We use USPS, and DHL Express within USA and Different postal carriers within Europe.

We do not require you to sign for the shipment.

We always aim to get the item shipped within the day or next day regardless when the order comes in.

No. Expedited shipping duration is after the processing time but we always aim to get the item shipped within the day or next day.

It depends on the item. For most products it is international already.

If a customs fee is required by your local country, then you would need to cover this.

No, there is no non-shipping lead time on any products unless a product is noted as on backorder or out of stock.

Our products ship from the warehouse in China, except for the ICON collection which ships from a US warehouse.

Standard shipping is FREE and expedited shipping costs $19.99 through DHL express.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

CS4) DO YOU OFFER REPAIRS AND SERVICES?

No, we don't offer repairs or other services but we offer a 2-year warranty on any defects. If the issues occur within 30 days of purchase, we offer refunds on watches with a manufacturer defects. If the issues occur after 30 days from purchase but within 2 years, we offer replacements on watches with manufacturer's defects. If that's the case, please take pictures of the watch showing the defect and email us at vikingwatches@gmail.com and we'll get the process started for you.

If you're simply looking for a battery replacement, a reputable local jeweler should have no problem replacing the battery for you.

CS5) WHAT’S MY ORDER STATUS?

Once your order is shipped, you'll receive a tracking number via an email from our system. If you click on this link in the email, it should take you to the website used by the postal service for tracking.  It usually takes 24-48 hours for the postal service to update tracking information in their system after we send it to them.

If you do not automatically get the tracking website, you can enter the tracking number manually online in your postal service’s tracking page.

If those do not work for you, please send us an email with your order number and we can check the status for you.

CS6) CAN I GET A REPLACEMENT FOR MY BROKEN, DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ORDER?

We will replace items if they are defective or damaged in shipping. If you need to exchange it for the same item, within 30 days of receipt of your product, send us an email at vikingwatches@gmail.com and send your item to:

All returns at first must be authorized by one of our support agents. Agent will issue unique RMA/DOP number. Without authorization and RMA/DOP number, returns will not be accepted and refund will not be granted.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment via PayPal, within a certain amount of days.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

CS13) I HAVEN’T RECEIVED MY REFUND FOR MY RETURNED ORDER.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take 7-10 business days before your refund is officially posted through the banks.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

We offer bulk discounts but it depends on your order. How many are you ordering? We can send you a quote if you send us an email along with your name, business name and address and website information.

We try to maintain all products in-stock, but if one ever goes out of stock we will take if offline or note the product as being in a back ordered (delayed) status. If the product goes out of stock after you placed the order, we will notify you via email.

CS17) DO YOUR PRODUCTS COME WITH A WARRANTY?

Yes. All products come with a two year warranty against defects.
